The mobile is on 24/7 however if we are unable to answer, please leave a voicemail with your number and we will respond promptly.

We have 4 different client segments

To give you some indication of the types of clients we service here are our primary client segments.

1. Clients who self refer or are referred (usually via a GP or organisation) for personal counselling or trauma recovery work.

2. Clients who refer via an Employer sponsored Employee Assistance Program.

Usually Employee Assistance Programs provide free counselling for employees up to a certain number of sessions per year. Please check with your employer if they have such a program in place and who the primary provider is.

Newingreen works as a partner with many but not all of these providers.

3. Organisations who approach us directly.

Small to medium enterprises approach us about establishing employee assistance initiatives, working with problem teams, working with and coaching management, preparing some training or attending to a critical incident.

4. Emergency Contact.

Newingreen has a long history of working with people and organisations where a critical incident has led to death, injury or other loss of an individual directly or indirectly. For example. Recovery services for observers of a serious workplace accident or providing counselling support for a key employee after a personal incident.

Fees

For self referred clients our advice is to get a referral from your GP prior to making a booking. This provides for up to 10 sessions per year. Through this initiative (Better Access), Medicare will pay a portion of the consultation fees. This means that you will be out of pocket around $50 per consultation. The rest will be covered by the Medicare rebate.

Clients are kindly requested to settle their entire account at the time of or prior to consultation (See payments below). In the case of a GP referral a receipt will be issued for claiming purposes.

Clients without a health care plan but with private health insurance should investigate directly with their insurer if they can claim.

For other types of services such as those related to a business program fees are negotiated directly with the organisation.

With a Medicare rebate of $86.15 (on provision of a valid mental healthcare plan from your GP) your gap fee is $53.85.

2.Out of hours (after 4.30pm) Face to Face, Phone or Skype Consultation (55 min)
$155.00

With a Medicare rebate of $86.15 (on provision of a valid mentalhealthcare plan from your GP) your gap fee is $68.85.

3.Emergency Face to Face, Phone or Skype Consultation
$180.00

With a Medicare rebate of $86.15 (on provision of a valid mental healthcare plan from your GP) your gap fee is
$93.85.

4.Emergency Service or Defence Personnel Face to Face, Phone or Skype Consultation
$120.00

With a Medicare rebate of $86.15 (on provision of a valid mental healthcare plan from your GP) your gap fee is
$33.85.

Emergency Consultation means a clinician is available within 15 minutes of the call. Note. A briefing will be required prior to the client attending. In the case of attendance requiring externally travel this will be charged at the same rate. Travel is calculated from McKinnon to location and return.
