Newingreen provides services for three types of client contact.

1. Clients who self refer usually for personal counselling or trauma recovery work.

Clients are advised to get a mental health care plan from their GP providing for up to 10 sessions. This means that you will be required to pay for out of pocket costs of around $50 per consultation. The rest will be covered by a Medicare rebate

Please Note

Clients are kindly requested to settle their entire account at the time of consultation. At this time, we offer no card based merchant facilities (these are coming). A receipt will be issued to then be used for claiming purposes.

For clients without a health care plan a receipt will still be issued as per above. Clients with private health insurance should investigate if they can claim.

2. Clients who refer via an Employee Assistance Program.

Usually Employee Assistance Programs provide free counselling for employees up to a certain number of sessions per year. Please check with your employer if they have such a program in place.

3. Organisations who approach us directly.

That may be to enquire about the establishment of an employee assistance program, designing a wellbeing program, preparing a training program or attending to a critical incident. Fees are negotiated directly with organisation.

Travel can be negotiated if a consultation is required at home or office. Travel is calculated from the practice offices at 1 Princess Street Kew.
